The Canadian Scout Jamboree 2013 was held on July 6–13, 2013 at Camp Woods in Sylvan Lake, Alberta. The CJ’13 theme was “the four worlds” where Scouts travel back in time to be a part of prehistoric adventures, get involved in mountain explorations, raid castles and dive for buried treasure. Activities included whitewater rafting, canoeing, hiking, zip-lining, climbing, archery, even a trip to the Calgary Stampede (Ya-Hoo!).

Albert, the Albertasaurus, was the official mascot of the Jamboree. Throughout 2013 Albert visited Scout Troops across Canada. He made his way back to Sylvan Lake in time for the Jamboree’s Opening Ceremony.
