Youth kneel (must be on at least 1 knee) in a circle facing inwards. One stands in the center with a tall stick. The circle must be big enough that the youth in the center can swing the stick without hitting anyone. Standing the stick in the center, the youth calls a name and lets go of the stick. The named youth must catch the stick before it hits the ground. If (s)he succeeds, (s)he switches places with the one in the middle.

Alternative: Youth can be numbered an the center child calls out a number.
