Langley Park Scout Reserve is owned by the local Rotary Club, but has been managed for years by Scouts Canada, Kawartha Waterways Area. It is bisected by the Cavanville Creek which is shallow in summer and great for catching small creek critters for environmental studies. There are large group camping areas, with three large open fields for gatherings. The south side of creek has 4 hectares of mature cedar woods for winter outings.
