Purpose:
To recognize a Cub Scout that has performed a link with the Scout Troop. This badge may be worn by a Scout as recognition that they have been part of a linking activity when they were in their third year of a Cub Pack.
To earn this badge, the Scout must have participated in a linking activity or "jump-up" ceremony during their final year in Cub Scouts. This badge is usually presented during the Scout investiture ceremony.
