Outdoor Adventure Skills Nature

Natural observation and where it fits into the various stages of different Outdoor Adventure Skills badges.

OAS-scoutcraft-1.png 1.6 I can name three wildflowers by direct observation OAS-aquatics-1.png 1.7. I know three different types of animals that live in the ocean.
OAS-scoutcraft-2.png 2.5 I can identify four types of trees by direct observation in a wild field, bush or forest. OAS-emergency-aid-2.png 2.14 I know some of the wild animals in my area and how to be safe around them.
OAS-scoutcraft-3.png 3.8 I can identify three wild animal tracks. OAS-emergency-aid-3.png 3.13 I can identify some of the poisonous/hazardous plants in my area, and those I may encounter when travelling in Canada.

3.15 I can treat bee stings and reactions to some local plants, such as stinging nettle.
