Rover Scouts

Men and women 18 to 26 years of age.

The outdoors is an essential part of the Rover program. Rovers often participate in adventurous activities like mountain climbing or white water rafting.

Rovers also help their local communities by running service activities such as food drives, park clean-ups, and tree plantings.

Rovers meet in a group called a Crew. Rovers develop and manage their own program under the guidance of a respected Scouter. Rovers adhere to a Promise,The Scout Law and Motto.

To do my duty to God and the Queen.
To help other people at all times,
And to carry out the spirit
of the Scout Law.

The Rover Motto

Under the Canadian Path, the Rover Scout motto has been changed to

Go Beyond

This replaces Service

Rover Scouts Handbook

The Rover Scouts Handbook is available online.

Policy Changes

In 2012 the Board of Governors passed a motion to eliminate the Rover Scout registration fee for the 2012/2013 Scouting year and onward.
