The term Scouter (sometimes Leader) applies to all adult volunteer roles that directly contact the youth. These include Section Leader, Scout Counsellor, Assistant Leader, Company Advisor, and Crew Advisor.

Section Scouter

A Scouter who works with a colony, pack, troop, company or crew (the program sections) is called a Section Scouter. In the Beaver Scout and Cub Scout sections they will have an assigned name such as Raven or Akela. In the sections for older youth they will simply go by Scouter (name).

Service Scouter

A Service Scouter is one who works to support other Scouters as a member of an Area Service Team, Council Service Team or National Service Team.
