Debuting in August/September of 2008, Scouting Life Magazine replaced Leader Magazine as Scouts Canada's magazine for its members. The change in title was in part a reflection of that the magazine is not strictly for Scouters in the organization. Scouting Life Magazine provides relevant and useful information on programs and resources for tens of thousands of Scouts Canada Volunteers.
In the Fall of 2012, Scouting Life received an updated design that affected the magazine from cover to cover. In September of 2014 the number of issues each year was reduced from four to three. discontinued as of Spring 2016.
