Using Individual Corn Chip Snack Bags

In Bags or On a Plate

Ingredients:

  • taco chips (plain tortilla chips are best. filling will be seasoned well enough)
  • ground meat (and/or refried beans)
  • shredded lettuce
  • diced tomatoes
  • salsa
  • shredded cheese
  • sour cream
  • green onion (optional)
  • chopped cilantro (optional)

Seasoning (to make 1 oz)

  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Directions: Brown the meat. Heat or rehydrate the beans. Add the seasoning to the meat or beans (can thicken with 2 tsp cornstarch and 3/4 cup water).

In a ziplock bag or on a plate, add a handful of chips. Crush them up and top with whatever you like.
