The Old Fisherman
Cast: The old fisherman, several other ice fishers
The old fisherman is ice fishing, sitting on a stool and pantomiming jigging at a hole and pulling up one big fish after another.
The other ice fishers sit on their stools nearby, having no luck. After the old fisherman has caught several fish, one of the other ice fishers goes to the old fisherman and asks what kind of bait he’s using.
The old fisherman mumbles an unclear reply and goes back to fishing. The ice fisher who asked the question shrugs and goes back to his or her stool.
The scene is repeated until the last of the other ice fishers approaches the old fisherman and asks what kind of bait he’s using.
The old fisherman spits something out of his mouth into his hand and says: “I told you guys! Worms! But you’ve got to keep them warm!”
