Canned panned cobbler

Canned Panned Cobbler in 20 minutes or less

  • 1 large can of fruit (whatever you like, I like peaches) in juice for every 4 people to be fed
  • 1 box of granola (any kind)
  • Butter if you have any with you
  • Frying pan
  • Can opener


  • Open can
  • Dump everything from can into pan
  • Simmer until hot and half the liquid disappears
  • Turn off the heat
  • Sprinkle a layer of granola over the hot fruit in the pan
  • Let sit for 5 minutes or until cool enough to eat (it's too hot to eat now)
  • Eat!

A cobbler or crisp can be made by just using this as a guideline. Check out this (Camping with Suzi) Camper’s Fruit Crisp for dessert made with prepared fruit and cookie crumbs. Looks like oatmeal cookies from the picture, but almost anything could work.
