The following awards are advanced challenges for Cub Scouts and may be transferred to the scout sash (pre-2011 uniform) after joining Scouts. [1]

The Natural World

Associated with the Black Star.

Wilderness.gif CanadianWildernessAward.png The Canadian Wilderness Award will give Cub Scouts a chance to discover as much as they can about the natural world.

The Outdoors

Associated with the Green Star. As announced in Scout Scene Vol. 1 Issue 8 - Dec. 2011, to align with the six "Star Badge System", consideration was given to reducing the number of Cub Scout Activity Awards from eight to six. "Canadian Heritage Trails Award" was amalgamated into the "Canadian Camper Award".

Found under the Tawny Star.

Associated with the Red Star.

Health.gif CanadianHealthyLivingAward.png The Canadian Healthy Living Award is for Cub Scouts who really enjoy being active.

Home and Community

Associated with the Blue Star. As announced in Scout Scene Vol. 1 Issue 8 - Dec. 2011, to align with the six "Star Badge System", consideration was given to reducing the number of Cub Scout Activity Awards from eight to six. " Emergency Preparedness" became an activity badge within "Home and Community".
