2011 Uniform Revision

It had been over 20 years since the Scouts Canada uniform was reviewed. On March 25, 2011, Scouts Canada launched a new line of uniforms in partnership with Joe Fresh Style, the country's leading youth clothing manufacturer. Joe Fresh was the manufacturer for uniforms and other clothing sold through the Scout Shop from 2010 to 2015.

As part of our uniform revision, the program badges, woggle and insignia designs and colours were also changed. More specifically, the sizes of the badges have been reduced, moved from an embroidered to woven production (which reduces the thickness), selected unique colours for each Section, and updated the artwork. Following the uniform revision, members wear their achievements on their sleeve, rather than on a sash.

In 2015, Scouts Canada began working with CIMA LTCI. It has been said that CIMA LTCI allows for smaller orders more quickly than our previous manufacturer.

Scouts Canada's members wanted a uniform that is comfortable, high quality, versatile, modern…and affordable – all words that fit with Joe Fresh. Joseph Mimran and Associates were able to deliver a clothing line that we’re confident will be a hit with members. New vibrant colours, contemporary fabrics and a broad selection of styles are all part of the final package.
